CIMO scholarship 2015

CIMO is offering scholarships for international applicants from all the countries. These scholarships are offered for those applicants doing Doctoral or Double Doctoral level degree

Applicant can apply in any fields and subject available for Doctoral level study

Numbers of Scholarships/Scholarships Offered

Many number of Scholarships are offered annually for international students

Duration of Scholarships

The Scholarship time period vary from 3 to 12 months

Scholarships Description / Details

Allowance of 1500 Euros/monthly

Living expense for a single person

No additional allowance for housing

Expenses due to international travel to and from Finland are not covered by CIMO.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for these scholarships must meet the following criteria

Applicants should not have resided in Finland for more than one (1) year period

Have good academic record

Documents Required

Attach all require documents

A motivation letter from the applicant (the hosting university), max 1 page

Complete CV

Research plan (3-5 pages)

Two printed and signed copies of the application with required attachments should be submitted to CIMO

Send your documents to PO Box 343, 00531 Helsinki. Please mark the envelope with “CIMO Fellowships”.

Last Date to Apply / Deadline

Applicant can apply any time

Autumn term (the start of the academic year; from late August/early September to mid-December approximately)

Spring term (from early January to the end of May).

When to apply

There are no annual application deadlines in the CIMO Fellowship programmed. Applications may be considered at all times. However, please note that applications should be submitted at least 5 months before the intended scholarship period. Decisions will be made within approximately 3 months after receipt of application.
